This week was really motivating. It was basically a get to know your surroundings week. We did scavenger hunts, markey visits, ministry site visits, rules and stuff, etc. My favorite session was one that I was taught alone with my leader, Miguel, abot how to properley protect our women from the hissing and hollering men on the streets. Very interesting tactics, an art that I feel I will perfect  in less than a week. My roommate is one of the local guys, he is 21 years old and very dominican!! His name is Ronnie, we have awesome talks in the dark at night when the power goes out. We start officially ministry tommorow. Its very exciting, I already have a gang of kids that come visit me everyday to play baseball with me. The Lord is teaching me many things through alot of people and circumstances. One of the things is treasuring Christ over everything. Its one of the hardest lessons but certainly one of the most valuable. Miss everyone, and always thinking about home. But i know that I´m here for a purpose and that the Lord wants me here. Well.. my time at the internet cafe is up... off to go to a sunday night church service!!! Corito´s!!!!! lol!!
