Blessings to all. Life in the DR is going good. We are readjusting to having a new tam, but its really been the Lord's grace through this transition period. We have started English classes again, but not with the amount of students we wished we had. Miguel and Kristen's baby is growing so quick. I made my own little song for her for when shes crying in my arms. She seems to like me though, she smiles at me a lot.
Recently, we had Kristen's mom and grandmother to visit and also we had Miguel's mom too. It was a fun time.
We have started to work in Guatchupita on Wednesdays and every other Saturday of the month. The ministry there is going good. We have been working with a new couple that just moved in. One prayer request we have for that neighborhood is for a woman named Amancia. She is about 75 years old, and recently had the roof taken off the house she was living in by the owners. They came the day before and told her she needed to move out the next day. She is currently living with her son and his 5 kids. Please pray that the Lord will provide a living situation for her and that the time that she is living with her son can be full of peace.
As for me, you can pray that the Lord will help me rise up. I'm confused and hurt with some personal things in my walk with the Lord. I have taken a major blow to my faith, and don't really know where I stand or what lies ahead. Just pray that the Lord may have mercy and grace over my life.
I will be heading to Santiago next Thursday to meet up with the QUEST 9 team. I will be working with them for 5 days and then returning back to San Juan. Pray for safety in travels for me and them, they head out on the 14th of this month.
God Bless.
